Summer’s Surprise

There are seasons when the land seems to breathe a little deeper, bursting with color and life in ways that make you stop and take notice. This painting was inspired by one of those extraordinary springs, when generous rains transformed the ranch into a sea of lush green grass, trees dressed in full leaf and shrubs overflowing with new growth. A golden sun breaks through the landscape, illuminating every corner and reminding me that nature ... Read More

Woven Together

Some mornings, the sky seems less like a landscape and more like a work of art already painted by nature. As I watched this sunrise unfold, layers of brilliant oranges, yellows, blues and greens stretched across the horizon like handwoven fabric, each color blending into the next while still holding its own. Along the rocky shoreline, coral formations emerge both beneath the seafoam and above the surface, their jagged edges catching the light and stirring a sense of curiosity that beckons you closer. But as with so much in nature, beauty ... Read More

Feeling Blue

When I painted True Blue, I was drawn to the endless conversation between sky and sea. The brilliant blue of the ocean mirrored in the sky above, with soft blushes of pink coral rising from the water and reflecting gently onto the clouds. There’s something magical about those moments at the beach, where color seems to dance in every direction and the horizon invites your mind to wander. For me, time at the beach is more ... Read More
