As I conclude this series, I wanted to capture the quiet courage and joyful abandon that come with going above and beyond—not just in our actions, but in the way we move through the world. These final two paintings reflect that spirit in very different ways.
Lone Cloud features a vast, open blue sky, streaked lightly with wisps of cloud. One fearless, fluffy cloud floats boldly in the center, catching a hint of orange from the sun. A reminder that even in solitude, stepping forward with confidence can illuminate everything around you.
In contrast, Sun Dance celebrates exuberance and freedom. A fiery red sun blazes across a deep blue and dark purple sky, while layers of color swirl and dance along streaked clouds on the horizon. Playful, energetic and full of motion, it embodies the joy and creativity that come when we dare to give our all without hesitation.
Together, these works invite the viewer to embrace both the quiet strength of standing alone and the thrill of moving freely through life, always striving to rise higher, give more and savor the beauty of each moment.
