THE ART OF GAY GADDIS

A Dedication of Love

Angels and Arrows Newsletter

While the surrounding landscape and sky is typically my muse for painting, I never know what theme will appear as I start a new collection. For me, naming a collection of paintings is like naming a child. The name follows through the life of the paintings, shaping their context, colors and deeper meaning.

After a blissful weekend reconnecting with sorority sisters, I was reminded of my “Angels and Arrows” collection. Named after one of the lead paintings in this group (pictured above) infused with Pi Phi’s official colors of wine and silver blue—I dedicated this special collection to this sisterhood and greater community of women helping each other reach their goals and dreams. As angels and arrows are symbols of Pi Beta Phi, each painting depicts a heavenly place that I hope captures your hearts and minds.
