In my last newsletter, I shared memories of my happy place, translated on canvas in my newest collection “Open Oceans.” Within this collection, may I present “Beach Girl,” capturing a solitary girl standing at the shore’s edge, her gaze stretching far beyond the horizon. Waves whisper at her feet, and the sky blooms with possibility. In her stillness, she embodies a spirit of wonder—her dreams as boundless and deep as the ocean before her, each tide inviting her to imagine a life as vast and open as the sea itself.
This painting is especially meaningful to me because this ‘beach girl’ is my daughter Rebecca. Creating this memory with her makes this painting even more special, and I’m glad to share this moment with you all.
