Recipes Curated By My mother, Dottie Warren

In 1980, I received a homemade recipe book from my mother, Dottie Warren, with a hand-drawn cover and recipes typed on an old manual typewriter. Given to friends and family, she hand-crafted each one as a labor of love.

For inspiration during this busy holiday season, we’ve recreated this family heirloom, “Christmas Collection,” with Dottie’s recipes and dishes by lifelong friends of Liberty, Texas. From recipes for dove and duck fresh from a hunt, to old-fashioned fruit salads, biscuits, brittles and a Christmas tree-shaped cheese ball—editing this book was a delicious walk down memory lane.

All proceeds will be donated to Emancipet, a nonprofit near and dear to Dottie’s heart, offering affordable veterinary care nationwide. Purchase a copy or enjoy a free recipe booklet with a purchase of $250 or more.
