If you’re lucky enough to spend time in the Texas Hill Country, you’ll understand what motivates me to paint. Each season on our Double Heart Ranch offers a rich palette of color and texture with a spectrum of light. While some of my landscapes are abstract, this particular painting is more realistic, as you can see the historic oak trees mixed with Texas shrubs and hay fields. Every day, I welcome a new skyscape or horizon to paint as an endless source of inspiration.
