It has been almost a decade since I returned to my roots as an artist and in this time, I’ve developed my tried and true methods of painting that has served me well. However, I recently experimented to capture a new view.
One sunny day, I spread out a blanket on the grass, laid down and gazed up at the sky for what seemed like hours. What a difference. Seeing the clouds from a different position, opened up a fresh perspective. From that experience, I painted “Things Are Looking Up,” a cheerful piece with fluffy white clouds and a bright blue sky that makes me happy.
Featured painting: Things Are Looking Up, 18×18 inches, framed acrylic on canvas.
